3 new Oscars
Hey guys. I'm a South American cichlids keeper and acquired 3 new adult Oscars. I have an albino female and a tiger male who are a pair around year old and I also have a 6 month old wild type too but not sure what sex. While they've been in the tank they haven't eaten as they keep spitting it out but also seem scared of the smaller fish at feeding times. All of the smaller shoalers I'm rehoming along with most of the other cichlids as I just want my 3 Oscars mainly and they are not settling in too well. As I said when they do eat they spit it out and just wondering what I have to do as I know you can starve them for a few days but I can't do that at all it's not fair on them so I'm at a loss of what to do. They're new fish and are not used to any food I put in although the wild type keeps eating a bit. How long before they adjust and ear the food?
