A little more info my well water has almost no kh in it and the ph is 6.0 or lower

Update*

Ammonia is still at 2.0 ppm no nitrites still. Just added some tetra safe start to see if it helps. Also added air bubbles for more oxygen and turned the temp up a bit. Anyone that knows whats going on here id love to hear from ya.

I disagree that you need to keep ph at 7.4-8.0 at all times, most tropical fish, especially amazonion fish prefer a PH under 7. My tanks are usually under 7 naturally and all my fish do fine. That said, the nitrifying bacteria do have more trouble establishing in lower ph. If your well water is 6 I’d add some baking soda to raise it. Is there a sponge in your filter? You need to give the bacteria someplace to establish a biofilm and the filter is the best place to do that.
