Question Praecox tankmates?

Hi all,
so I am about to set up my new 190L/50gal high tech planted tnak, with a 60l/15gal sump.
I am adding 10 praecox rainbows, 6 otocinclus, and then I am unsure of anything else. I can't keep shrimp as they are illegal in New Zealand, but I was wondering if anyone has any cool ideas of other tankmates.

NZ has tougher laws than AU when it comes to aquatic selection. Whats normally available?

Maybe look into kulhi loaches or corydoras? A gourami or dwarf cichlid could also work as well IMO.

(Is there any native shrimp that can handle tropical tanks... in AU we have a few native 'ghost shrimp' up north that breed in FW and handle tropical conditions... might be worth looking into that?
