Pothos plants in aquarium?

Hi,

I'm pretty new to fishkeeping. I have 2 bristlenose catfish, 2 corydoras, 6 neon tetra and a betta fish in my tank and was wondering if any of these fish would eat the roots if i put pothos in my tank? Ive had a cutting sitting in a glass on my window sill for a while now and im not sure if itll survive if i plant it in soil and since i have read so many great things about how pothos can improve water quality i thought i might put it in my tank instead, however am unsure about whether its safe for my fish.

Thanks!

Love pothos in my tanks. They might nibble algae off the roots, but no real damage. Non toxic to the fish. My pothos took off like crazy, I've split it a few times. You can either stick them directly into the tank or out of the filter. I keep mine by the current.
