Please help save my fish.

I have one common pleco that I've had for 5 years and it's in a 75 gallon tank. His eyes are puffy with white stuff on them, covering most of the eye. It also has white bump looking spots on his body too, also kind of looks fuzzy. this has been going on for about a week. 2 days ago he was so irritated he kept trying to jump out of the tank and was exhibiting sporadic behaviour. For the last week I've been doing water changes and using water treatment. Nothing worked and it got worse. Trying to shorten this up, yesterday and today I've treated my water with maracyn. I want to believe it's working, but can't be sure, how long should it be before it clearly starts to get better? Also, I feel HORRIBLE for my Pleco and want to make sure I am treating him correctly. I have no way to post pics other than using my phone. I was hoping that someone who really knows their stuff would pm me with their phone number so I could text them a pic to properly diagnose my pleco. I wouldn't be surprised if no one takes me up on that, but I thought I would try.

thanks for reading, all advice is appreciated.

Take a picture of it with your phone, then email the picture to yourself. Then download the picture from your email to your computer. From there you should be able to upload it on here.

Sorry to hear about your pleco :( Do you have him in a hospital tank? Clean water is going to be essential to try to help him heal. It could be some type of bacterial infection going on.

Any other fish showing symptoms? Have you introduced any new fish into the tank prior to his symptoms without quarantining them?

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

Maracyn, and Maracyn II,as per direction's work's well together,(can use at same time) for numerous fungal, bacterial pathogen's. Along with removing any carbon that might be in filter.(carbon will remove med's)
Goes without saying that water parameter's must read ZERO for ammonia and nitrites, and NitrAtes should be not much higher than 20ppm which weekly water changes will help with.
Temp slowly lowered to around 76 degree's has proven to help slow the spread of bacterial pathogen's for me.
Substrate should be smooth gravel, or sand.No Lava rock,or other sharp rock's in the tank where fish can scrape belley on.
Do follow the direction's on med's,,More is not better.
Is best I can offer with no water stat's, Tank size, maint routine, tankmates, decor, diet, etc.

The most important medication in your fish medicine cabinet is.. Clean water.
