Thanks. I've used wood and Indian almond leaves to try and lower pH but it seemes like they didn't do a much, although I didn't to much testing.

I'll take the anubias out of the pot when I remember to and then maybe float it until I have something to attach it to. I added a piece of wood, but I don't want plants on it. I will probably just put the risomes on top of the substrate once I start to actually arrange the plants.

yoi should get a RO Buddy. i love mine. you can do small water changes with the ro water and lower you gh/kh slowly. which will eventually help slowly lower the pH
