the catfish you have looks like a pictus catfish and the cichlid looks like it could be an Acei.....Sorry cant remember the latin name for the cichlid

cool thx FP, the cichlids pictured are actually two diffrent types. they came from diffrent tanks at the lfs just cant remember the name :/
In your 2nd picture the guy hiding there in the lower part in yellow is def a Labidochromis caeruleus, that I can tell ya for sure. The orange finned one, beats me, I'd re-post and ask in the cichlid section.
I'm not a 100% on the "pictus" can you compare it to pictures here or googel and see what you say (seeing the fish right in front of you Knowledge Base - Seriously Fish

im pretty sure you have a pictus cat their in the top pic...........the middle pic looks like it could possibly be a female Copadichromis borleyi (kadango).....its hard to say for sure, but it lloks to have a long pelvic fin, which these fish are known for......if thats the case, they are a somewhat peaceful african that ca reach 8 inches, but usually will only get to around 6......the bottom pic, i believe to be a Acei........I think if memory serves me,,,,,,a pseudotropheus acei is the correct name.........
