Fish co-habitation questions?

1. Can you put a small variety algae eater (3in. max) in with a large Pleco (6in.) and expect it to go fine, or would the little fish get beat up?
2. Can a Rainbow Shark co exist with a Plecos?
3. If the above question is true, what other fish can co exist with a Rainbow shark?

Thank you all!

I think if the tank is large enough you're OK. The sharks become aggressive with age and size. If you're talking about a 55gal plus it should be fine.
