Duckweed Dying Off?

Hello everyone...

I have 5 small tanks, all planted & with duckweed on the surface.

The duckweed would grow so prolific I would be scooping the excess out of each tank every couple of days.

I just noticed that lately the duckweed has literally disappeared from 2 tanks whilst the other 3 still have duckweed that hasn't spread as it usually does.

The water & light conditions haven't changed & the other plants are fine.

So just wondering is it a seasonal thing or has the propagation exhausted itself (if that's a thing?) ???

It's probably not getting enough nutrition. Do u use ferts? Pls post pics. We can get a better idea based on how the plants look.

Don't use ferts but since I posted this question nearly month ago, the duckweed that nearly disappeared from the 2 tanks have grown back in abundance.

Get yourself a cheap LED shop light from Walmart or somewhere. Super easy to grow! Here is a helpful video:
