Betta Sorority

Hi everyone. After a ton of going back and forth and research about what to put in my new tank I have decided to do a Betta sorority. My 30 gallon tank is cycling now and I need suggestions on if I have enough plants in here and what else to add if not. I want to make sure everything is perfect before I put the girls in. Thanks so much.

I would definitely add more plants. You don't want to be able to see the back wall of the tank through all the plants. It'll help break up chasing, fighting, etc.

That's what I was thinking. Do I have to get plants that go all the way to the top or just more like the ones I have in the back already? Also should I get plants that float at the top for cover. This is my first planted tank so I want to make sure I do everything correctly. Thanks for the advice!!

All the way to the top is best. Floating would probably be good too.

I just thought of another question. Is the light that came with my hood sufficient? I have the Aqueon Deluxe LED 30" Full Hood for Aquariums. I got LED thinking it would be better for plants but now i am not so sure.
