I'd say increase the school sizes of the tetras and loaches to six, and then maybe get one "centerpiece" fish. A small species of gourami or a dwarf cichlid would work well.

that doesn't sound bad actually. anything besides a Gourami or a dwarf Cichlid as far as a centerpiece fish goes? im not a big fan of gouramis, and my lfs doesn't have a very good selection of dwarf cichlids any more.

That's too bad your LFS does not have any nice dwarf cichlids. Batman's stocking plan sounds really good to me. I may have to go hunt down a 20G myself.....

If you don't stand up for something you'll fall for anything...

You could look for badis badis or peacock gudgeons. Both are very cool fish, but both also might require live (or at least frozen) food.

ive got blood worms for the last fish that were in this tank, so thats not a problem
