Advice? Possibly getting my first dwarf gourami!

I have a cycling 10 gallon tank, and my original plans were to get about 6 male guppies. But upon further research and looking at awesome fish, I think dwarf gouramis are super cool fish. I'm thinking about getting a single dwarf gourami and 3 male guppies.

I have never had fish other than my beloved bettas, so any tips would be great!

The tank is 10 gallons, has a filter on the right side, and a 4 inch airstone on the other. It is planted, and I will be getting more plants as it cycles. I am on the look out for floating plants as well, since I read gourami need them.

Is my tank sutiable? Is the airstone too much? The current isnt strong, but there is a current. I think my betta would be able to handle it though, so its not too strong.

What about foods? Guppies and gourami are omnivores yes? So this was my plan.

-Omega One super veggie pellets (about 2 times a week)
-Omega One super color tropical flakes (about 6 days a week)
-Omega One super color pellets (about 6 days a week)
-Frozen Bloodworms (once a week)

With my bettas, I feed them 2 times a day(small amounts), once in the morning when I turn the lights on, and once in the evening when lights go out. I do not feed them on fridays. Is this schedule good for guppies and gourami too?

I clean my betta tanks every week, my smallest tank, a 3gal gets almost a %50 change weekly. My 5.5gal gets bout a %30 change. Would about %30 be good for the 10 gallons as well? All thanks are planted.

Any other tips are welcomed. I am only used to bettas, so once fish in a tank (Not including shrimp and snails) I assume feeding a group of fish is different than a single fish. Are there any meds I should have on hand with these fish? For my bettas I have Epsom Salt, Aquarium Salt, and Kanaplex, but I usually rely on clean, warm water.

I use prime, and also have stress coat. I dose Flourish Once a week for the plants.

Here is my tank.

Dwarf gouramis are beautiful fish! I really love the looks of them. Sadly 22% of the dwarf gouramis coming out of asian fish farms have the deadly and incurable dwarf gourami iridiovirus. A lot of DGs at fish stores are sickly. They are not the hardiest fish. I had one this summer before I knew much about them and she died in a few days after I brought her home. I decided not to get another one after she died because I didn't want another sickly fish. I want another one someday, but I will probably find a breeder on aquabid and buy one there to try to get one that is not sick.

75 g. planted peaceful community of denison barbs, cories, neons, boesemani and turquoise rainbowfish, pearl gourami, ancistrus

35 g. long semi-aggressive community of mature m. lacustris, diamond tetras, golden gourami

36 g. bow with pagai praecox and kamaka rainbowfish.

3 pico planted tanks with bettas and nerites.

Would a honey gourami be a better choice, and less sickly? I could buy from aquabid, though I've never got a fish online before and i'm kind of nervous about it. I'll go look though.

But since a honey gourami isnt technically a dwarf, does it still suffer from that disease? And is it a hardier fish?

I really just want a 'centerpeice' fish. And these seem perfect. They are beautiful and seem to have great personalities, comparable to bettas, who I love. If you have any other recommendations let me know, just make sure it will be comfortable in a planted 10gal with 3 guppies. :) Thank you!
