I just need to put my mind at rest. Now, My ammonia level is 0-PPM and my Nitrate Level Is 20-PPM will this kill my fish?? and i've done water changes and it just keeps rising back to 20-PPM ?? PH Is Fine at 8.2
gravitiy at 1,022.
Well if you want to decrease your nitrate level you have to dilute it, so multiple water changes in close proximity should do it. you don't want to change too much and mess up your pH so just do like 15% today, then 15% tomorrow or the next day and see if that works.
I really can't say because I don't know anything about SW fish, but 20 is fine for most FW fish, it is not toxic until it gets to high levels (what's that, like 70ish?). Hopefully a SW guru can hel you further!
Thank's for all your help so far i really appreciate it.
Carl.
