This is just a tip for when you are doing your water changes or your just adding water. If you are going to use tap water, (which I wouldn't do). I was using tap water and was wondering way my nitrates and phosphates were never getting any lower till I tested the tap water and found out that the nitrates and phosphates in tap were 20ppm for nitrates, and 1.0ppm for phosphates and whatever else your local water company puts in there system to keep the water clean. I use the Walmart brand drinking water whenever I need to put new water in my saltwater and freshwater fish. I tested the water myself and every test I performed on it come out zero and you don't need to chlorinate it unless you feel more safe doing that. :D
