bubble algea

my nano has been up and running since last october. the water params are always kept good (0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, always below 20 nitrate). I've had green bubbles that open into green leafy algea. My husband removed some after it had opened but it's on about 1/2 my lr, not completley covering it but there none the less. i was just wondering about the best way to remove it, not necessarily chemicals. i have lots of life on my lr and don't want to injure anything trying to take this off. also if there's anyway to reduce it's growth please let me know.

You might want to get a small emerald crab and see if it nips away at it. Your tanks params sound ideal.
