Exclamation Uromastyx light replacement

Hey guys, I'm the proud owner of a uro after much sacrifice and hard-headedness. I have used different kinds of mercury vapor bulbs for him but unfortunately I need to cut down on the spending a bit. I got what I asked for, I guess. I wanted a uro and forgot about the sacrifices. So I need to get lighting soon and am contemplating what to get. The zilla 50 T8s I use for my beardies are really good. And recently I've read a lot of good feedback online so I am considering using them for my uro. Anyone around here familiar with uros? What do most of you guys use? MVBs or regular fluorescents?

Oh yea mvbs are great but ARE pricey. I love the zilla desert 50 tube uvbs and have been using them since last year. I say get those. They provide enough uvb that uros need as much as mvbs I'd say.

by the way, what kind of uro are you getting?
