Man, where do you live? I want a salamander like that! The ones around here are hard to find. I can usually only find them under rocks or rotting logs in the fall. Our salamanders are really small and are usually all black or brown, although some of them have a red stripe.

That is truly a handsome salamander you've got there. I had a similar one when I was young and I enjoyed him immensely! I really liked to watch mine hunt worms. It actually stalked its prey like a cat and wagged its head back in forth waiting to strike. It was fascinating. Enjoy your salamander!

i've checked him out and he is, in fact, a dude! :D
Ill be sad when he has to move out with my sister in a couple months but i definetly will catch one of my own. (have quiet a few on the farm)

well its her's. i gave it to her bucz my mother said i already have fish in my room and i cant get anything else. (she just about blew her lid when i came home with him) so my sister doesnt have any personal pets so its hers. and she is taking him to collage so that means i got to get another.
