Ask any of my friends and they will tell you that I love exotic animals. If I could be anything, I'd be an exotic animal breeder. I'd breed several species of snakes, lizards, fish, and rodents. Well I began in December of 2006 with a single corn snake. I now keep 11 snakes and I am housing 2 of my friend's snakes (she rescued them but cannot house them until she has her own place.)

Let us begin with the corn snakes

Zim, my 2006 Snow Corn Snake Female (bred this season. Laid about 16 eggs. 4-5 are fertile)


And her clutch (due to hatch early to mid July)

Cornelia, my friend's 2005 Female Normal Corn Snake. Rescued.

Next, my ball pythons. This is my second season breeding ball pythons but for some reason, neither of the two females I'm breeding this season are cooperating.

And my boa girl, Isis. She is a 2008. She's very small for her age as she was a problem feeder for a while but she just graduated up to small rats recently and is growing like a weed!

Haha, yea. I plan on adding at least 1 more this year and if my husband lets me, another 2-3 next season. This does not include snakes I hatch out myself and decide to keep. So hopefully by this time next season I will have another 3-5 more snakes.

Thanks! I sure hope she stays that color. She is beautiful. I can't wait until she is big enough to breed. Her babies will be stunning!

No, she is severely undersized. She had feeding issues because we moved a year ago. She fed off and on for a long time. It is only recently she has begun eating on a weekly and bi-weekly basis. She has put on so much weight. She will eventually get to be about 7-9' long and as big around as my arm. Well, that is hoping that she reaches her full size potential and that she is not stunted. She is 2 years old and is about the same size as a 6 month old boa.
