I was just reading another thread, where they started talking about sand and how dangerous/not dangerous it is. So I got to thinking about substrates and wondering how many people out there have actually had impaction problems? First hand stuff I mean. Also, what substrates are you using, all of them? Just to we can clear the air.

I have 4 beardies, 1 leo, 1 ball python.

For my beardies I have zillas Desert Blend (its new I believe since they just started selling it at petco), my leo is on repticarpet, and my ball is on bark. I really like all three the way it is. I've never had troubles with either in any way.

So, what about you guys? Anyone actually have trouble? If not, what substrates do yo use for all reptiles.
