Helping my uncle

Ok heres whats happening, my uncle wants to buy an exotic pet like a millipede or something (actually not a millipede since his girlfriend said no). I was suggesting either a scorpion or a lizard. Now he is the type of guy that doesnt really know how nature works, so i need to be there to tell him what to buy otherwise he will listen to the petsmart people which is a guaranteed doom. My problem here is that i dont know what to buy. Can someone give me a list of dry exotic pets that will fit in 10-20 gallon terranium, i will do the research to see what it needs.

Ones that i have on mind:
Long tailed lizard
Scorpion

We just got an African Dwarf Frog. He could get a few since they are so small. Very cool, and I'm sure his girlfriend would think it was sooooo cute.

Anoles...better in a 20g...get at least 2...a male and a female or 2 females...

...tarantuala...

...Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches...same sex only, or you run the risk of MANY roaches...

House geckos...but many people find them too dull...

White's Tree Frog...needs to be kept very clean and humid though...a bit too much work for most...

Some of the smaller skinks might do okay...but they hide under the substrate and you rarely get to see them...

hmm maybe a tarantula then since he doesnt really have much time to spend on the vivarium so i dont think he should get anything hard to take care of, he doesnt like cockroaches, probably the only bug he doesnt like, i'll look into geckos as well. Thanks for those

Depends, does he want Size, Color, Low Maintenance What?

There's leopard geckos, Crested geckos, Scorpions,
Anoles(cant stand them), Skinks, List goes on.

Give me a description of what he wants.

(oh and madagascars dont Breed that Easy....I have tried.)

ok, something easy to care for, he doesnt have much space so a normal 10 gallon or 20 gallon tall terrarium, he doesnt want to spend much money on it so nothing that requires specific things like trees to climb on and stuff, also something that can be fed store bought food would be best since i dont think he will be bothered to set up a cricket colony.

No live plants either, would be too much for him, plastic or silk will be the ones.

I can't think of any critters he could keep that don't require some fussing as to food!

I think he'd better reconsider...
