Heatpad for pacman frog

Ok so I ordered a Zoomed mini heat pad for my 5.5 gallon baby Pac-Man frog tank and was wondering if I should put it on the side or bottom of my tank? because I don't want to burn the Lil fella.

Hi I'm a Goldfish I have a 3 second memory span... hi I'm a Goldfish I have a three second memory span.... Gotta love my sister:)

1-1 1/2 gallon Betta bowl,

Soon to be 1-20 gallon reptile tank,

1-Britney spaniel/family dog,

used to own 1-painted turtle, 1-wild hermit crab RIP,2 Guinea pigs RIP.

I'm honestly not totally sure, but I think it'd kinda depend. I've had my kids sit on heat pads with no problems, but they're reptiles. Heatpads aren't supposed to get hot enough to burn, but it's hard to tell since they don't really radiate enough heat to change the cage temp much.

If you put it on the bottom, I'd say to check into getting an IR temp gun to check the temperature of the pad on a regular basis.

It'd probably be safer to put it on the side for now, but I don't know if that'll transmit as much heat since heat rises.

It's funnier in Enochian.

hi
i've just asked my sister who has frogs, and she says
put it at one end on the outside of the tank.

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.
