Garter snakes..

I found one outside in my garden...
(Actually my shovel found it. Now it's about 2 inches shorter :()

Would it be a good idea to try to catch it and nurse it back to health? Or just let it go and maybe throw night crawlers(big worms) or a guppy out there where it can find it occasionally. (I read they like fish)

Beautiful snake... Are there any snakes that are poisonous and look similiar to this?

My snake was smaller, about 10 inches long (well, 8 now. :/)
It just lost the tip of it's tail and it got away pretty fast... so I hope it's ok...

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.
