I have a freshwater tank with only fish and i kind of wanted to mix it up and add some critters in it. I was thinking a crab at first or crayfish and also a frog would this be possible? I have a size 10 tank.

What kind of frog were you considering? I know that Xenopus Laevis (African Clawed frogs) would get waaaay too big for your tank in the future (and probably eat your fish) they are better by themselves. You also have the dwarf frog (Hymenochirus boettgeri) which would be suitable, but you wouldn't want a crab or crayfish in there as well because it would eat the dwarf frog.

Are you looking for more of a 1/2 land 1/2 water adventure?

I'm guessing a land frog because this is in vivariums.

You can get 3 Firebellied Toads.
You can possibly have one Pac Man Frog for a while.

If not (you want aquatic), then the only frogs you can get are African Dwarf Frogs.

I'm looking for a frog that is tiny and can stay underwater at all times and will not kill my fish or my two snails

Then you want African Dwarf Frogs. They stay under 2" and are harmless.
