Bert is awake

just thought i would share a couple of pictures of Bert after his winter sleep.

when you set up a new tank,hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor,that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

always a good sign when he wakes up
it's a beautiful day here for a change,i actually have the door leading to the garden
open to let in some welcomed fresh air,and i spotted a fry from last years goldfish
spawning,a shubunkin with full colours.

when you set up a new tank,hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor,that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

Oh man how I wish I could sleep through winter. ha ha He is a handsome fellow, looks like a lovely place for him to live. Nice job!

thank you Inga his vivarium is a nice size at 4ft long
Gwen, yes i'm in England,nice to have a bit of blue sky today,and was able
to check up on the fish,now the pond ice has gone.
