A aquarium or a package deal from pet solutions for frog as home?

I am thinking of getting a Rainforest Frog Habitat Kit from pet solutions for a frog. What do you think of these are they any good for keeping frogs? I was thinking of using a ordinary aquarium instead as a alternative. More length and higher. So I could make a river and pond in it maybe.

Another question I am new to keeping frogs are they like aquariums. Were you have good and bad bacteria. How do you clean one of these habitats out. Obviously if you have water you have to do water changes but what about the substrate?

No idea but that sounds like a cool new project. Good luck and hope someone replies with more helpful answers soon.

I would probably go with an ordinary aquarium rather than the kit. The special terrariums are very expensive for their size, so you could probably get a larger aquarium in addition to the other things in the kit for the same price. I haven't ever kept frogs, so I can't really answer your other questions, but good luck!
