Yes, I could get a shot of the whole tank but, I'd have to move some furniture first. I've been wearing my knee and ankle braces for the last few days and I just didn't have the energy to move the furniture today. Maybe later this week...
I know what you mean about the cleaning. Thankfully I got smart about filtration last spring. I simply toss the hose out the front door, connect to one garden hose with a "Y" on the spigot. I then open both valves on the "Y" and the valve on the bottom of my home made Bio-Filter, and drain the tank into the front yard for some really good fertilizer. After draining, I simply close the one valve on the "Y," turn on the spigot, and refill. Takes about an hour, but, I don't have to bail.
Pond Salt is my friend. It prevents the fish from getting sick. I keep it pretty brackish.
I'll be doing a "Do-It-Yourself" on the filtration/dump/fill system I've devised the next time I tear the Bio-Filter apart, so look for it in the DIY section.
Tommy is about 6"X8" the goldies are getting really big. They started off as targets for the Fire Mouth Cichlids when they hatched their first fry.
