yeah I would love to, unfortunally(probably spelled wrong) my parents don't dislike the animal itself but their food scares the hell out of them.
crickets and grasshoppers -> NOT IN THIS HOUSE

but fish are ok.

Those are some great looking beardies!! That viv looks great too, when I have a house I'm going to have to get a pair. I had a huge male in college that was the friendliest lizard I've ever met in a 6x3x3 foot homemade viv, used to get lots of looks taking him to petco on my shoulder!

Do you not like the crickets because of the chirping or just crickets in general? I always found that if I bought crickets online in bulk they never made noise. When they get bigger you'll have to get some hissing cockroach treats for them, my dragon absolutely loved them and they're super healthy!

i don't like the crickets because no matter how hard i try to keep them
from escaping,they always get out,and the final strw was finding on in my bed !!
they chirp at night once the lights were off,and it never bothered me,the dragons
were never particularaly?(sp) interested in them unless i feed by tweezers,
locus are gratfully eaten with or without wings,and wax worm are a treat,all
of which are nice and quiet.

Did I ever tell you about the time I ordered a sack of crickets? I thought they'd be in a container inside the sack and ripped it open. I swear there must've been at least 500 of the little blighters on the kitchen floor, and to top it all off there was a spider in amongst it!!!

For weeks afterwards I kept finding monster crickets in different parts of the house - it was horrible!

omg kate............. did you catch them all or are you still finding them ?
i think i would have to lay double sided tape all round the kitchen just incase.
i think the rotten little critters have only thankfully embarrassed me once.............
man came to fix potential fire hazard part on my fridge freezer,well due to the size of said
fridge freezer i don't pull it out often to clean behind it (dare i carry on with the embarrassment further ? )
well after being mortified by the amount of dust there behind it very nice young man says.
"don't worry about the dust we all have dirt..............however you have bugs !! "
i removed them with the hoover as quickly as i could,however he spent less than 10 mins replacing the part
even with me trying to explain that i kept lizards,i should have showed him the vivs.
i don't think he'll be back in a hurry.

Hahah, that's so funny!! I did keep finding them for months, fortunately they're all gone now though. I stopped with the crickets after that and stick to mealworms.

for months.........................nooooooooooo oo,that's nearly as bad a seeing a spider run
across the living room floor.

one is growing much faster than the other,i'm considering taking the smaller one
to the vets ?
the biggest of the two is such a scardie pants,when i go to pick him up he runs off,
but will happily sit on his log and be tweezer fed a wax worm or two.
