Worms

My remaining ancistrus seems to have little threadlike worms hanging out of her bum. I have looked this up, and as expected, it appears to be some form of internal parasite.

Is there anyome that can recommend a medication for this? I prefer to use tried and tested medications than just going into the fish store and asking what they have.

Also, should I worry about these worms infecting the other fish?

Thanks.

Interpet Internal Bacteria No 9 is what I have used in the past with no probs, but with any medication such as this ALWAYS watch your water params, because not only will it treat your fish, it will make a mess of the good bugs in your media.

Thanks Daz!

I've quarantined her, was I right to do this or would they not have infected the other fish anyway?

I will get this medication tomorrow and I'll check the params every day to be sure.

Thanks.
