What kind of medicine do I need?

I just noticed yesterday that my female Betta's top fin has been eaten. I'm suspecting it was my balloon molly as there are only ottos in the tanks with the two.

Without results of your water tests, size of tank, how long tank has been up and running, there is little anyone can do to help you . most would not attempt to recommend medications without knowing more .

My Bettas jumped the divider and one got his fins all bitten up...I used "Bettafix" which worked pretty well..however if your Betta is in a community tank I would not recomend treating all your fish..maybe seperate him into a "hospital" Tank and treat him only.

She is in a 10 gallon community tank. It's been up for about 5 months now. It's heated and has a filter. I do not know the water parameters.

Be very diligent about your water changes and it should grow back ok. Good water quality is a must to keep fin rot from making it worse.

Otos are very sensitive to medications- I'd check into that before adding anything. Fish fins grow back, you just need to keep an eye out for infection. Also, make sure your water is absolutely pristine.
