What the heck?!

So I've had 3 benga peacocks in quarantine with some other fish for 5 days now. I do a small water change every 3 days.

This morning I found the first dead fish, the second around 8pm and the last one is now barely swimming and ready to be put out of its misery.

All fish were acting normal, eating readily and interacting fine. Water parameters are good and none of the other fish are showing stress of any sort.

I started the tank on a round of nitrofuracin green as a quarantine.

So... What the HECK?!

Well the entire tank has icy now. Thus far I have:
-turned heat to 88ish to speed up the life cycle
-daily 30% water change/gravel vac, new water is unconditioned, the chlorine kills the ich organism very nicely
-dosing daily with nitrofuracin green

It's been three days on the program and all ready I see signs of improvment!
