What is going on here?

Hello everyone,

I've have had fish tanks, terrariums and all sorts of stuff over the course of my life and have never seen anything like this before. What is this? Why is the happening to my pink Danio?

All her scales are flared out and she's super swollen. She wasn't like that this morning when I went to work. She swims and eats fine. What could cause this?

Agree with MoneyMitch. Otherwise, I'd say dropsy by the appearance.

It sure does look like Dropsy :( You can try isolating the fish and using some Epsom salt to help with the swelling.

That is the exact same thing that happens to my guppies and without treatment, my guppies will usually lose their skin around their belly area and die in a couple of days.
