Wha??

I just got home today and saw that my tiger barbs(the one that looks like a clown loach) in the tank. Everything seemed alright but then all of a sudden they turned around and I caught a glispe of reflective green on them.(they never had this before) Does anyone know what it could be?

Not sure. Maybe they lost some scales? Do you have a pic?

OK I think this is normal. Unless you mean like gross nasty hanging stuff. Tiger barbs do reflect back green naturally.

Could you leave a better description or pics?

Also wanted to add that it is perfectlly normal for them to change colors periodically with seasons or with dominant roles. The "green" is actually all black that reflects back a green color due to the black absorbing some of the spectrums.
