Weird thing Betta Does(COONCERNED!)

My betta seems to swim up and down the glass of the tank. His nose is touching the glass. He is not flarring so he is not attaching his relfection. But for a long section of the day he does this thing. Up and down he goes. Some people say he is bored. But if so how do i entertain him? He has a hideout and some plastic plants to swim through. He has a heater and a filter. He is making bubble nest and eating. Please tell me what he is doing i am getting concerned.

also try to do away with the plastic plants and get some silk ones, ive heard of bettas fins getting torn and ripped on plastic plants. You have to remmember that a bettas fins are very delicate
