Weird, SICK Platy.... HELP!

Big Fish

My Platy is really under the weather.

Other fish are fine, just this one is doing very poorly. No idea what this is.

I have separated it from the other fish and took this picture to show you.

The SCALES look like someone took a hair brush and brushed them against the grain.

Any idea what this is?

Is it a disease that can get the other fish?

Is it possible that he got stuck in something (decorations etc..) and backed out of it?

You say he's doing poorly but what are the other symptoms? And are you able to test the tank water for ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, ph?
