Weird Fish Behavior, Please Help!

Hello.
I am semi-new to the hobby.
I am not exactly sure what is going on here.
I have a Platy that I have noticed once in a while sitting on the bottom of the tank on the gravel. I have 2 assorted platies in my tank, and the other seems fine. I came home from work today and I saw the one just lying on the gravel, almost looked dead, but a few minutes later he started swimming again like he is 100% fine. Is there something wrong with him or is this normal?
My water parameters are all good..

Thanks!

Does this happen after the lights are out? Many of my fish sleep on the gravel sometimes. Any other signs of disease?

20 gallon long: 3 adult Neolamprologus similis + about 11 fry of various ages; low light planted tank
20 gallon long:2 freshwater dwarf puffers (Puff Puff and Poofer); medium-light planted tank
10 gallon: 1 male betta named Wormy; low light planted tank
10 gallon: 1 male betta named Dante; low light planted tank
2, 5.5 gallon tanks that are currently empty (I see more fish on the horizon )

Well it hasn't been happening as much any more. It happened when the lights were on and off. As far as signs of disease, one looks great, real healthy and everything. The other, he looks a little bad. His tail looks like he has been bitten at a little and his scales look a little darker in some areas. I do not see anything going on between them as far as another fish biting him so I do not know why he looks like he has been bitten at. Will it grow back?

So long as he doesn't have a bacterial or fungal infection starting on the wound then there should be no problem healing the fin. Does the fish have clouded eyes or show any other signs or disease besides resting on the bottom?

And just before you laid dead weight upon its shores, I stung you in the face for that's the nature of my core.

Nope, I haven't noticed anything other then that. They haven't really been doing it as much anymore. I just hope the fins heal. I do not see any bacterial or fungal function on there. I do not know really what to look for but I do not see anything there. Just looks like he got nibbled at or something.

Thanks!

I can't think of anything outright. If all else is well the fins should heal in time. Maybe they had a tussle and were tired so they had a rest?
