Are these worms?

I've noticed what look like tiny white worms on the glass in my 37g Angel breeder tank. I saw one wiggling through the water as well. Can anyone tell me what they are, where they came from and are my fish in danger?

Tank mates:

2 Angels
2 Pictus catfish
1 Mystery snail
1 Ivory snail
1 Bushynose pleco

They are likely just detrivores. Gravel vac if you don't want to see them as much. Most fish tanks have them though, the numbers just vary and depends on if the keeper notices them or not. Often fry will find them a suitable food if they are actually swimming in the water column, most like to stay in the gravel or filter though.
