Unhappy Swordtails With Cotton Mouth!!!!!

okay guys, i have a 120g tank with tons of fish. last nite i diagnosed some swordtails with cotton mouth and transferred them to a 10g quarantine tank. there are 7 of them ranging from 2 inches to 4 inches long (without tail). is them being slightly overcrowding the tank going to affect their treatment? i am currently treating them with "PimaFix" an all natural medicine made by "Aquarium Pharmaceuticals". Will their numbers cause any problems for the next week or two?
any help is greatly appreciated, i love my fish so much,
Savanna :)

I would just keep up on the water changes (although PimaMix states only do a water change after 7 days). On water change days, I would medicate in the morning and do the water change at night. That way they get the dose of medication all day. Clean water is most important so I wouldn't follow the directions precisely on the label.

And I used salt for my tank with this. Along with melafix and pimafix.
