Hello! Okay I got 4 xray tetra from petsmart for my 55 gallon which contains 4 gourami, 3 ... other tetra of some sort, a loach, 2 corys and a pleco and a female betta.
I didn't put the tetra in a quarantine tank before i introduced them.. my bad. I don't have one :(
But they seemed perfect, until I came back from a trip today and noticed that one of them was swimming oddly.
Most tetra kind of have a twitchy swim...
The one I think is sick has that but is really really twitchy. He is swimming in place way faster than all the others :(
his head is also pointing upwards slightly.
I was thinking this was swim bladder disease... I wanted to iscolate him, but he was swimming really fast and I cant catch him..
I don't have a hospital tank.. :( I really need one, but I do have some jars that are a few gallons each.
If this seems like it is swim bladder, can you tell me how to treat it?
He is doing fine, swimming fast and doesn't look like hes sick, its just that hes kind of struggling and being twitchy and tilting upwards. He is schooling fine and is VERY fast.
