Suspected Stroke

I have a goldfish (maybe comet) and only one side of it fins move if it tries to swim, but it doesn't try, i have it in a bucket, where it is at the bottom.

I was searching the internet and was considering NaHCO3 to kill it.

Any thoughts?

If your really serious about it, use clove oil.

I have a bottle of Euthenase from Dr Foster and Smith, dunno if you can find it at your LFS though (I was ordering a bunch of other stuff so I got it just in case).

Your idea of NaHCO3 is kind of a cruel way to go. You can get a better effect using carbonated water or CO2, and it would be much more effective, much quicker of a process to not prolong any suffering. Look at your grocery store for plain sodawater, simply plain carbonated water. Don't use the flavored and sugared soda's, as the citric acids in these will hurt the fish and cause it a horrible amount of suffering.
