I know about ich, but in my opinion it isn't a big deal to treat the entire tank when I can easily isolate and then syphon the gravel. It's never before gotten as bad.
I bought some aquarium salt and I have been using that for the last week or so. It's working, but I noticed some fish seem to have had fungus too. I quickly isolated those. I lost my beautiful bala shark to mouthrot though :(
I did a lot of vacuuming on the gravel and water changes over the last while to fix this. I've removed the worst fish and put them into 1 gallon containers with aquarium salt. The 25 seems to be getting much better.
I have no clue what may have caused this. I had gotten some new fish recently, but they were healthy and from a good source. Plus, the new fish were among the last to show signs of sickness. Either way, I am learning a lot from this experience.
