something tried to chew my glo fish

i just found one of my glofish had a gash on his left side and was having trouble swimming.he's in qt right now. don't know who did it as most of the fish don't have mouths large enough to eat one of those gys

Could he have hit it on rock, driftwood, or the filter?

no internal or hob filter.i use a sump.plus the in pipe has a shield to protect againt the baby guppies from getting suck in.the gask is quiet big he'd have to hit the wood really hard on a pointed edge to get that wound.the rocks and gravel are the rounded type.don't think it is ricks.plus i don't have any deco mostly plants. i think someone tried to murder him.

i took him out and he din't make it.when i removed him there was a large rounded red spot on his side.

guess so. this means i have a killer in my tank on the bright side my betta babies are free swimming now.the dads is the one in my avatar

moms blue. the babies are small i think theres around 23.a small batch.the father and mother must have ate some.
