So I have a hydra problem in my tank. The hydra is making my water foggy and milky looking.

So I have too questions can my snails chill in just normal water till the hydra treatment is done?

I saw a really good product for killing hydra and now I can't find it on the forum can someone tell me which hydra killing product is the best?

I want my clear water back. :)

I believe your snails will also be harmed by the hydra treatment.

First, hydra won't cloud the tank. They are not free floating and secure themselves to the side of the tank.

As for the treatment, if the treatment is copper based you will not be able to put snails back in the tank for a very VERY long time. IF the treatment can also be used to kill snails the same thing applies. I treated ich with coppersafe and it took 18 months before snails lived in the tank again.

For what it is worth. I have literally hundreds if not thousands of hydra in my snail tank and the snails don't seem any the worse for wear from them. I am actually hoping my Mystery snails will start eating them.
