Sicky Fish! Really need help!!

My fish, Perrie, has been acting really sickly lately. he stays at the bottom of the tank and wont eat. all of his color is draining and (this may be due to the fact he wont eat) but he wont ever use the bathroom.im not sure what tempurature the water should be. i dont want to freeze him or cook him! what should i do!!???

Read through the betta care sticky at the top of the forum...that should tell you a lot about your betta and I'm pretty sure there's help for constipation in there.

Is your Betta:
In a Tank or bowl ( if in a tank what size?)
Do you have a heater .Betta should have H2O temp 75-80 F Degrees
Do you have any type of filter?
Does he appear bloated?

By the way, do airators (or whatever they are called) actually work?

Bettas breath atmospheric air, so an aerator is certainly not necessary. In fact, bettas prefer still water, so it would probably stress him out more than anything else.
