Sick male marble swordtail? URGENT please.

Hi there, I just recently bought a male marble swordtail from Big Al's in Canada.
When I brought it home and put it into my tank, I noticed that their was something wrong with it's top fin. There looks to be a chunk out of it, but I'm not sure.
I called the place where I bought it, and they said that I will be able to bring it back, but since I don't have a car and it's too cold outside, I have to wait until my friends aren't busy.
Will putting this off kill all of my other fish? Does it have a disease? Will it be okay to leave it for now?

Thank you,
Milseain

p.s. Sorry if the photos are blurry, and in the first photo, it is the one underneath the female guppy.

Looks like typical damage, but i don't think you have anything to worry about. It is possible that a bacterial infection could set into the damaged area, so you certainly don't want to keep the fish if you can return it. However, i see very little risk of infection for your other fish.
