Last night when I checked on my [info]guppie [/info]his stomach looked bloated and his poop was coming out of his side, not his underneath. Does anyone know what this is and should I be worried for my other fish? He doesn't look too good and the bulge on his side has got bigger.
That sounds like he has been injured badly. Can you tell if there is any type of hole or scrape on his side? If this is the case I don't know what you could do excpet to hope for the best. IS there any fish or ornament that he might have been bit/attacked by or and ornament that has a sharp enough edge that might have punctured the stomach?
Well it looks like a bubble coming out of the side of him, and like I said, his poop was coming out of the middle of the bubble on his side yesterday! He's still eating and swimming around but with a big white bubble on his side.
I bought 3 dwarf gouramis a week ago and one of them has been bullying the other 2 who both have nips in their fins so I took him back to the store today - I wonder if he had a go at my guppy too?
