Perhaps if you try keeping the lights out for a day or so and give him some time he may very well come around.

Danios are hearty fish

Sounds like you might just have a runt of the school of fish that the LFS aquired
I to have had the same issue with a Cardinal Tetra, I called the LFS back the next
day and explained to them what his behavior was and since I called they said that if
something were to happen and he didnt make it in the next couple a days that they
would credit me with another fish.... MY little Guy Made it.... but if he hadnt at
least I called them to explain and they were willing to work with me in that respect.
Just a thought.....might wana call them up .... let them know....

JUST MY 2 Cents....... I know more heads are better than only ONE BIG ONE..... ( lol )

Thanks
Ron

Have you seen it yet? I started my tank with leopard danios and they survived all of my newbe mistakes. Hopefully yours will be ok.

I just experienced my first disappearance this week. My male guppy that harassed everyone just went missing. I saw him sunday and have not seen him since. No traces at all. I dont know what happened to him, just gone!!!

Good Luck.

Jumped out >>????

redlessi

Is it possible that you might of added water and he JUMPED out?
I have had this happen to me before with a guppy actually.

when adding water and the level of the water rises... it might have been to
close to the top.... and he might have jumped out?
Just a thought.. look around the entire tank.
Hope you find him at least it will give you some closhier.
