Hi Ellen-

Sorry to hear about your troubles. We need more info from you in order to figure out what's wrong. How long has the tank been set up? What are your water parameters and when did you last test?
10 gl is way to small of a tank to house three loaches (not sure what kind you have...can you describe them?) and 4 ADF. How many days has it been since you added the loaches? It sounds like ammonia or nitrite poisoning, to me anyway.

If you don't stand up for something you'll fall for anything...

welcome aboard, sorry to see you having such problems.
as already mentioned, more info would be great.

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

What is your nitrate reading? I've heard kuhlis are sensitive and need stellar water parameters and that they are best added to a mature tank. How long has the tank been set up and when did you add your kuhlis? If your water tests perfect, the tank has been set up for quite awhile and you just aquired the loaches perhaps they weren't healthy when you brought them home??
