Shiny White patches on Platy

So today I want to my LFS and bought one sunburst wag platy and two panda corys for my 10 gallon tank. Because we live about an hour away from the store, I brought a styro-foam cooler to put the fish in on the way home. It was about an hour and 30 minute drive. So when I got home, I rushed to get the acclimation process started. When the bags were floating in the aquarium, I noticed something shiny on my new platy. When I took a closer look, it was more like a shiny white patch, and there was one on both sides of the fish too. What could this be? The fish acted normally, besides the occasional clamping of fins and going into a hiding spot (probably normal because of the new environment). It didn't really look like an abrasion or wound at all. It's probably stress related and will go away in a matter of days. The aquarium is fully cycled with only 2 other platys and the 2 cories. Thanks for any help!

Well, I support having a quarantine tank, but I am thirteen with not a whole lot of money. So there isn't a whole I can do about that. I do have a fungal/ich medication (ich-attack), but I do not think that it is anything of that matter. Any diagnosis would be greatly appreciated!
