scratched fish

hey my black moor managed to scratch his side on a rock or somesuch (i didn't witness it so i'm not sure). it's a little chip and i can see the gold exposed under his scales.

he seems fine, but what can i do to make sure it doesn't get infected or cause him more stress?

you can use Melifix,however remove and carbon from
your filter if you have any in there.

I agree with willow - that or small water changes everyday or every other day for a little while should heal him right up fairly quickly.
