salt and scaless fish

I know normally you wouldn't necessarily want to put salt in with Otos and loaches but can they tolerate it for a week or 2? And if so how much would be recommended?? I am switching meds and thought the Platys would especially benefit from a little salt.

Tonic levels should be fine...most fish stores use salt...I use salt...

...if you're worried, add the salt water very slowly...

Fishkeeping wish: That every betta sold finds himself at least a 5g tank...

Wanting better for bettas...

I'd dissolve the salt first before introducing it to the tank. Any grains of salt can burn their skin most unfortunately.

I'm ready for the pressure.
The drama and the pleasure!

I believe I can fly!
I believe I can touch the sky!
I think about it every night and day!
I stand in awe of my body.
